 Josh and Caleb - Easter Egg Hunt

We certainly have had the BEST yards...

over the years...smile

EASTER TIME

Each year, the town of Lynndyl would have an

Easter Egg hunt for the children - on a Saturday...

This picture was taken AFTER the "hunt"...smile

You can see...they had a GREAT TIME!

Picture taken in "Rest Home" in Oregon somewhere

near Portland, Oregon.  Anna May Gilbreth Smith - 

known as "Boss"...

 was "95" years old in this picture.

She died on 5 August 1987 - at the age of "97".

1986 - Still living in Lynndyl, Utah

 Letter I wrote to Fred and Marj Smith..

Note was about "Rebekah"... a "1" year old...

Like I mentioned before...we were BLESSED

with the BEST BACK YARDS!

I wanted you to see the VIEW...from the back deck...

We lived on a BLUFF...and could see for MILES!

I so LOVED our home in Utah...

 Jennie - 4 years old

Sarah - 3 years old

Rebekah - 1 1/2 years old

Baby kittens were born and left at our home

by a "stray cat"...(some things never change - smile)

Garvin fixed up an OLD CATTLE TROUGH...

and made it into a "swimming pool"

We lived about 15 minutes NORTH of Delta, Utah...
the main town...They had an INDOOR swimming pool...
So, I took you children...for a swim in JANUARY 1987
 

As you can see...it SNOWS in January/February...

Garvin, with the help of Josh and Caleb...

made a "Snow Fort" in our backyard.
