Abraham's 25th BIRTHDAY!

Our family togetherness began on the 16th of December...
Abe and Annie with their PRECIOUS BABY GIRL TWINS...
Madison and McKenzie...
arrived to spend a few days with us, before they
left to spend the CHRISTMAS week with
Annie's family...
They had a "Egley" FAMILY REUNION...
(we all know...how hard it is to get our families together at ONE TIME - so this was a major event for them... )
We got to celebrate Abe's 25th BIRTHDAY!
Happy 1/4 CENTURY BIRTHDAY!
Sunday Morning - 18th December
All ready for CHURCH!

25th BIRTHDAY - CELEBRATION
17 December 2011

 Abe's favorite breakfast
"Biscuits and Gravy"
Began with Roxanne Ingalls making this
for Seminary Breakfasts
NO COMMENT on Abe's "sassy face"!
 Birthday Morning

McKenzie and Abe
Already being trained on the computer
McKenzie talking to Madison

Abe wanted "T-Bone" in STEAK FORM
for his BIRTHDAY DINNER!
Garvin added to "tools" to his new
"tool box" that Annie got him!
Annie make Abe a BIRTHDAY CAKE!
Chocolate with "Cookie's and Cream PUDDING" for frosting
and then added CRUMBLED "Oreo" cookies on top!
FANTASTIC!
Abe thinking...
before blowing out his candles!
Madison celebrating "Daddy's" birthday, also!

MISCELLANEOUS PICTURES

 McKenzie SMILING Sunday Morning!

Another CUTE picture of McKenzie!
Hyrum and his new MISSION CAMERA!

Ah...how to put babies to SLEEP!
Lay them on comfy couch...

 Cuddled up on Mama's arms...
Though, it seems to work on Mama, too!
McKenzie being "rocked" while daddy enjoys the computer...

Or...being sung to while in the bath water...
Abe and Annie sing to the girls while they are taking a bath...
Wonder if the warm water or "daddy's" singing...
is what put Madison to sleep...

A Calvin and Hobbes Kind of Christmas

For all the Calvin and Hobbes lovers in my family.

I'm sure you remember a similar comic strip.

If only we could do that to all the snow.

Some Truths...

It's genetic Sarah and I got it from Grandma Bonnie & Grandma Patricia
 So TRUE! I still cry!
Need I say more?
And this made me laugh!

Tis the Season....Thanksgiving...

I have been thinking that I need to post our Thanksgiving
before CHRISTMAS arrives...(smile)
It was a simple and overall
restful day...
I LOVE the "Fall" colors of Thanksgiving
They are BRIGHT and FESTIVE!
Our "22" lb. Turkey
with the herbs that I grew and dried from
our very own GARDEN!
(smile)
It was such a BEAUTIFUL "Fall" Day...
Even the birds were out
and enjoying the day!
He and a few others even took "baths"
during the day! (so fun to watch!)
What is a holiday or gathering that
Garvin is taking a "nap" - though,
it seems now...he has a "grandchild"
along with him...This is "Madison"
The truly "delightful" part of this family
gathering were the TWINS!
Madison and McKenzie!
(L to R)
I LOVE capturing them when they
SMILE!
This is Maddy!
McKenzie - Before getting all decked out
for Thanksgiving!
McKenzie has discovered her tongue...so, she
and her Mama play this game...
Grandma Bunny (Annie's mom) is enjoying
the game exchange with her
daughter and granddaughter...
Larry Egley (Annie's dad) growing his "winter" coat for his face...
and Garvin dressed for MONTANA?
Before dinner...Abe got to do the FUN part of the job...
cleaning out the BARN...Garvin did the hard part...
Abe...got to drive our new tractor...
One must have a tractor...here...
We have this bucket...for rocks and manure...
and shoveling SNOW...plus, we have a
"60" inch tiller - for the garden!
Garvin being..."Garvin"...
BATH TIME!
McKenzie and Annie enjoying the moment!
Madison - Hmmm...not too certain
being placed in a "sink"!
Hey...nearly forgot "Salt and Pepper"!
I think they were just GRATEFUL that THEY
weren't chosen "to be DINNER"...
Sirloin...not so certain...
He witnessed "T-Bone's" fate...
McKenzie and Madison all dressed up and ready
to go to their "Egley" grandparents home...
Grandma BUNNY...got these darling outfits...
perfect... for the occasion!
A "rare" moment...
Not getting a "goofy" looking face
from ABE!
One last game...BEFORE they left
for Annie's parents home for the rest of their
time...here in Montana!
