Moving TRAILER Arrived, Today!

EMPTY - 53 foot Trailer

One week LATE, our trailer arrived, today...Poor driver, he has had alot of trouble lining up our trailer...The one we ended up with...is not the one...he was going to get at the beginning...ADVERSITY....on all levels...(smile) Thought you'd like to see our PROGRESS...(smile)

Montana - Gardening - NO DIFFERENT

I went to compare gardening zones of all the places we have lived...I was very surprised at my findings....

PASCO - WASHINGTON - 5B
LYNNDYL - UTAH - 5A
PROVO - UTAH - 5A
LONGWOOD - FLORIDA - 9B (TOO HOT)
KALISPELL - MONTANA - 5A

To add to the mix - IDAHO FALLS - 4

The irony here is...I have lived in 3 other areas with the same GARDENING temperatures...and my BEST GARDEN was in WASHINGTON...Didn't get a chance to work LYNNDYL....spent most of our time "clearing" the land...then, we moved....It is going to be as cold in MONTANA as it will be in PROVO....(I lived there for over a year) (Now, Rebekah and Angel you get the privilege of living in PROVO - and will be as COLD as we will be in MONTANA) (smile) Sarah, you live in the COLDEST region of all of us right now...Everyone WARNS us of how COLD...it is going to be in MONTANA...but, no one ever WARNED us or ever mentions how COLD it gets in PROVO...By-the-way - SALT CITY is a WARMER climate - 6B....Quite a difference than PROVO....

For the rest of you:
FT. HOOD - TEXAS - 8A (NOT BAD)
CHESAPEAKE- VIRGINIA - 7B (I'd go there in a heart-beat!) (LOVED VIRGINIA)
BRADENTON - FLORIDA - 9A (cooler than LONGWOOD!)

Fun facts to know...(smile)

"UGLY" Bug

OK...I truly hate to post this after these darling pictures of our new GRAND BABY GIRL, Rachel...but, here is the STORY....

I am sitting in my office....on this beautiful QUIET SATURDAY MORNING...and I hear your dad from the big room....YELLING...."MAMA"!!!!! I thought what could be so URGENT! I run in there...and there your father....points and says..."LOOK!" Kinda reminded me of those days...when you BOYS would yell for one of your SISTERS to HURRY...and come get the mean ol' SPIDER!!!! (smile)
Hmmm...no wonder God created woman for man...not only to be his helpmate...
but, to help him out of "danger"...(smile)

COMPASSION

Compassion is not something that can be learned, put on, or even prayed for. Compassion is produced through living out the daily sufferings and sacrifices of a life freely given to God. (The Light and The Glory - God's Plan for America, Vol 1, p.190)

Spiritual Progress

As the great English Puritan theologian Richard Baxter put it: "Man's fall was his turning from God to himself: and his regeneration consistith in the turning of him from himself to God. . . . [Hence,] self-denial and the love of God are all [one]. . . . . The very names of Self and Own, should sound in the watchful Christian's ears as very terrible, wakening words, that are next to the names of sin and Satan."

And Thomas Hooker, the most articulate of the New England Puritain ministers, spoke for all of them when he identified their primary adversary as not Satan but self. "Not what Self will, but what the Lord will!" declared Hooker. self was "the great snare" and "the false Christ," "a spider's web [spun] out of our bowels, the very figure or type of hell." . . . The Puritans did not need to be overly concerned with the devil; if they directed their energies toward Christ and against self, Satan would have little enough access to them.

I don't have to worry, now, that few people will show up to my funeral in MONTANA, since no one will know our family....because...I had the best "living " funeral I could have ever dreamt of and had the JOY of "physically" being able to attend...(smile) Cathy Garrett threw me an "HERBAL Tea Party"...with my SISTERS over the years...long and short...and we each got to reminisce our experiences together...It was WONDERFUL to remember how we each touch each other's lives...Isn't that what this "mortal" sojourn is all about? How well we LOVE each other...????
