LDS and the Constitution - Ron Paul's Comments

I came across this You - Tube on the Constitution and quotes from the prophets....The person who put it together...evidentally was supporting Ron Paul...I like him, not for President, but I like him...I am glad he is a mouthpiece in our government system...Good man...

I WANT ONE! NO! I NEED ONE!

Droids Make the Best Pepper

Not that you've noticed... but all fine restaurants on Tatooine feature R2-D2 pepper grinders. Usually after you order your salad of Dagobah greens a Wookie will come around and offer you some fresh ground pepper from one of these handy droid-based mills. Word to the wise... never refuse a Wookie.

Fortunately for you we've managed to pilfer a few hundred R2-D2 pepper mills from eateries all over Tatooine for your spice grinding pleasure. Simply twist R2's head and he deposits pepper onto your food. Hey, it's not a glamorous job for a droid... but much better than being abducted by Jawas.

Over at Think Geek you can pick up an officially licensed Star Wars R2-D2 Peppermill. Cooking used to be a boring Star Wars fan until little R2 showed up on the scene to provide freshly ground pepper to liven up any meal. All you need to do is twist the R2’s head around to produce that freshly ground pepper goodness. Computer hacking and beeping and booping not included.

For such a specialized droid, the $19.99 sale price makes this piece of equipment a bargain that even a Jawa with stolen droids can’t beat.

Product Features

Pepper Grinder that Looks Like R2-D2
Twist R2’s head and pepper comes out the bottom
Peppercorns Not Included
Stands 4.75″ Tall

Yesterday, shredded wheat sounded good for breakfast so I grabbed the box that had been open for several weeks and poured a bowlful. Along with the cereal out came a cockroach. He flicked himself out from under the shredded wheat squares and landed on his back on the counter where I left him (her?) to die. I poured in the milk and began to eat the cereal, determined to prove that cockroaches are not harmful to humans. The only really gross thing was seeing the little black spots floating in the milk that I know are not part of shredded wheat. I ate the entire bowl of cereal, but stopped short of drinking the milk from the bowl imagining more "black spots" at the bottom of the milk.

How Joel Proposed

Now to be completely honest, I didn't really want something big and extravagant because IF Joel were to propose by doing something big I would have TOTALLY guessed I mean I would have been happy but I honestly preferred something private and simple. First off Saturday I was having a HORRIBLE day I had been crying all day because I was PMSing and because of personal issues such as...I'm a girl, I hate to say it but it's true I. AM. A. GIRL. which means...Drama Queen and boy should I get an award for THAT title, so needless-to-say I was having a bad day. Joel later that day calls me up and says that he would like to do something special that we haven't done and that was to share our patriarchal blessings with each other and talk about them. I said okay but first we walked around the University Mall in Orem cause we like to just walk around and go window shopping, after that we shared a "strawberry blonde" at Cold Stone Icecream. We then went home and made Joel's AMAZING spicy pasta and just chilled well Joel says that he had to get some pamphlets out of the car and would be right back. well he didnt come right back instead he left me hanging around in his apartment to await his return. He FINALLY comes back and he's on the phone....I hear a strong male voice and I think it's Dad! so I think "did joel ask dad for permission???" I started to get excited well as I listened further in Joel says the word, "mom" and asks about his sister Sara... so I thought, "Bekah you are a nerd he is not going to propose yet just chill..." so I go back to playing on his computer. Joels comes into his room and apologizes for taking so long cause he got caught up talking to...some kid dont remember what name he gave me and that his mom called...so we sit down and we switch off between reading each other's pat. blessing and joel kept asking me serious questions about how I felt on certain things and we discussed our goals and stuff then he asks me a specific question and says to me, "I need to know." so since I was having a bad day I tried to answer as best I could. I must have answered correctly cause joel says, "good" jumps up off the bed and goes to his bottom drawer and pulls out a white square box. opens that box and pulls out yet another box this time the box was brown and make of wood....I KNEW WHAT IT WAS! i covered my mouth with both my hands and thought to myself, "oh...my...gosh...I look hideous! I have no make-up on my hair is a mess!" so joel fiddles around with the wooden box for what seemed like FOR-EVER and talks about why he took so long. Because he had to call Dad for permission and Dad of course had to interview him. Joel admits that Dad wasn't easy on him but Dad made him promise a few things to which Joel then asks me if we are going to do them. Joel then says, "now how do I do this? I guess I have to kneel huh?" gets on one knee and opens the box for him to look at the ring and says," I know which one it is!" (teasing tone) then he looks at me and asks, "Rebekah Rejoice Smith, will you marry me?" of course I couldn't help but stare at the box instead of joel cause I wanted to see which ring he got! he opens the box and I get all giddy and answer, "yes" he puts the ring on my finger, pulls it off again and sticks it back on and says in the most romantic voice ever, "CRAP they forgot to size it!" haha I laughed and said its okay but I have to wear it the next day for church. well there you have it. it is now in the shop for the second time because they broke a prong...I haven't gotten to wear the dang thing for 24 hours yet! aaahhh so frustrating. but I am so very happy....
