Girls Night...well...sort of...

The Annual Father/Son Campout took place last weekend...
So, I thought, while the guys were away...
we girls could get together...
for some GIRL TIME...
We sort of had "Girl Time"...cause we, also, had all the
little ones...including two darling baby boys and of course...all the young "girl" children...smile

The guys who went on the Father/Son campout were:
Garvin...sons Abraham and Hyrum...plus,
son-in-law, Luke, plus our 2 grandsons - Joseph and Jacob...

I must say...we did have fun...just being able to be
together the entire night and most of the morning hours...
WONDERFUL!  Going to make this an annual event...
(smile)

 Our little group...
Sarah and her "4" (Joseph and Jacob at Father/Son Campout)
Annie and her "3"...(James too young to go - smile)

It took awhile to get all the children to bed...
It wasn't until around 10:00 p.m. that we "adult" girls...
got to put on a "chic flick"... and eat a little "chocolate"... smile

Sarah and I slept downstairs with Jackson...
Annie upstairs with her little group...
and older girls in what will be the future
"guest" bedroom...

However, Sarah and I didn't get too much sleep...
Jackson kept waking up...having a hard time breathing and coughing...
Maddie got up...and wanted to sleep with "Granny"...
so...she and I cuddled real close on the "couch" together...smile

NEXT MORNING...

My very own little "Sleeping Beauty"...

Early morning activity...So fun to watch these darling
little "cousins" interacting together...

"A Little Bit of Florida...Here in Wyoming and Idaho..."

I had envisioned moving to Rigby...a place where
friends and loved ones...from past places...
could be within reach of our home...
I was right! smile

Today, Garvin and I went and picked up Lindsey Johnson in
Rexburg, where she is attending BYU-IDAHO...
and the "3" of us...drove to Jackson Hole, Wyoming...
to pick up Lindsey's grandmother, Linda Humphrey...
flying in from FLORIDA...

I can't begin to tell you how MUCH FUN...and WONDERFUL it felt
to be with two people I love dearly...Lindsey and I laughed over times
when I was her Primary President and Young Women's President...Poor thing...
she couldn't get rid of me...smile

I had to take my camera along...KNOWING in that nearly 2 hour drive
up to Jackson Hole, Wyoming...
we would be seeing GORGEOUS COUNTRY...I am combining the two
wonderful experiences together in pictures!

We stopped along the way so that I could take some
pictures...of the breath-taking scenery...
including, my chance to take one of Lindsey...smile

 The "Tetons"

Darling Lindsey and I

We all thought this was an incredible place...
and how this family...prepared the grounds around their home...

It turned out to be a GORGEOUS DAY...
but, discovered...still SNOW in some areas
as we traveled towards "Jackson Hole"...

Purpose of our trip...was to get Lindsey to her
Grandmother, Linda...Couldn't help taking pictures of their
"reunion"... There is something truly beautiful...
about a "Grandmother's" love for her grandchildren...

Afterwards, we went into town...and wanted to find
a place to eat...Interestingly, we missed the LUNCH time...but, were
too EARLY for DINNER...Some of the places only had a
mini menu...to serve...till DINNER time arrived...We found this to
be quite ODD...since there were so many
"tourists" about...

We took a few pictures BEFORE we found a place that would
serve a decent number of selections to choose from...

 Linda and I

Linda, Lindsey, and I

 Garvin...being Garvin...

We walked into one place...asking where a good place
to eat was...and Linda...spotted these
"saddle" seats...one had to sit on...
up at the bar...smile

One last pictures...as we all headed back
to IDAHO!

Spring Has Finally ARRIVED here in Idaho...

OK...I am absolutely...IN HEAVEN...
well...seems like it!
SPRING has FINALLY ARRIVED here in
IDAHO!!!!!!!!! Yes...I have been very
impatiently waiting for this SEASON to finally
make its appearance! smile

Just NINE DAYS ago...it looked like this...

Now, if you think I am complaining...
I really can't...cause we have been asked to PRAY
and FAST for MOISTURE...due to the
DROUGHT conditions in our area...
So, we must take whatever how
Heavenly Father...sends it...
Right?
Hmmm....I would have preferred...
rain...but....I must not find myself
"murmuring"...smile

Here are a few samplings of our last two days...

Hard to see it...but there is a
wonderful little honey bee...
on our "Flowering Plum"
bush (not a fruit bearing kind)
OH...the SWEET SCENT of this flowering
bush...is INCREDIBLE!

 Some of my "herbs"
I believe I have about "20" different
variety of herbs...Since, we do
not yet have our "garden" plots
set up, yet...well, I decided to use my
boxes to grow them for now...

These other plants are waiting to be planted...and more
INSIDE the house in my "waiting room" for plants...
smile

There are lots of areas...we are attempting to
clear up and make it look nicer...
On the OUTSIDE of our property is a piece
connected to our fence line...and
it was an eye sore...
So, Garvin took it on...and here is the results...
so far...

Wish I had the "before" pictures...
When my computer crashed...all my pictures in this
one program are still on my "other hard drive..." somewhere...
So, when I say...this was OVER GROWN...VINES...
just STUFF EVERYWHERE...
trust me...it didn't look good at all...

This pile is PART of the evidence...
He had a hay-day...burning
much of it...the FIRST day he began the project...
...smile

Front of our home...The flower beds
near the house are cleaned out...
thanks to our son, Hyrum...
Bless his heart...it was a major under-taking...
Now, it is up to me...to fill it all in...
with FLOWERS...CAN HARDLY
WAIT...to take it on!
smile

oh... one more picture...

Meet my new little friend...
(his buddy took off before I could get his picture)

 He found the sunflower seeds...
I had cleaned out of the
"bird bath"...smile

First Set of Pictures from Our New Home...Beginning with EASTER

I can not believe it has been 10 months
since I made any kind of post.
So much has transpired since then...
Sold our home in Montana...in August 2013.
"Homeless" of sorts... for 6 months...waiting for the "short sale"
on our home in Idaho to finally go through...
Picked up Hyrum from his mission in Virginia...
Spent WINTER holidays with Josh's family; Caleb's family; Rebekah's family...
Lived in and out of Luke and Sarah's basement...
(which I am sure they were glad to get some
space back in their basement!) smile
Saw Dave and Jenny in Arizona...
Spent time with Abe's family and Angel's family...
AND FINALLY got to move into our new home on
15 January 2014.
Had alot of pictures...but, not certain I can get them
anymore, since my old computer crashed a couple
of months, ago...
(I will figure that all out later)

SO, I will begin SMALL and work backwards...well,
almost backwards...I have some EXTRA EASTER pictures
that Sarah's family did not see, yet.  I am figuring
out how to work on pictures from my computer's picture program without my
using my old program...so bare with me...while I
figure things out...

Mothers rarely are in pictures...because
guess who is generally taking
the pictures! smile

EASTER EGG HUNT is in full swing...

I LOVE this picture of our little Claira!

Heiner clan...searching for all the eggs
that Hyrum hid for our
very FIRST egg hunt on our property...
(smile)

 Yeah...

 Love Jacob's enthusiastic nature!

Joseph finding the one lone egg on one
of Garvin's propane tanks...smile

Our darling little Jackson and his wonderful Daddy
observing all the fun...NEXT YEAR, Jackson...
you will get to join in! smile

Mama Sarah helping her little Claira
in finding some eggs...

Ha...ha...Claira running to get her egg...
that her Mama helped her find...

Savannah...making her move...smile

AFTER the Egg Hunt...
the children came inside and became very
creative....

Jacob made several things...
and was very PLEASED with his creations...

 And...Savannah's creation...
She is growing up so FAST! She is nearly as
tall as me...(I know, most of the grandchildren
will pass me by...before I know it!)
