When You Come to Visit Papa and Granny...

There are just some things that are just part of 

visiting Papa and Granny...So

far...TWO of our children...

have received the PRIVILEGE

of working with Garvin in the 

BARN...(smile)

Abraham and Annie are spending their

NEW YEAR'S time with us...

Abraham got "barn duty"...

(smile)

 Meet "Salt and Pepper"

They require LOTS of ATTENTION...

and "WORK"...

Garvin and Abe had to go and get more hay...

NO FOOD in the pastures at this time of year!

breaking up FROZEN manure...

cow manure...Ground is FROZEN and not getting much...

for the effort!

This is "Salt" breathing the "cold air"...

They were anxious to get back in the BARN...

for FOOD and a CLEAN BED!

TRUST me...these are the most 

PAMPERED steers on the PLANET!

 

A Visit to a Dear Friend's home in VIRGINIA

One of our dearest friends in FLORIDA...was the

WILKINS' family! While they lived there, we became GREAT friends...

We even have some GREAT THANKSGIVING CAMPING pictures

with their family...which made for us some FUN FUN FUN "WONDERFUL MEMORIES"...

Sometime...I will need to put those up...

Now, they live in Mechanicsville, VIRGINIA!

Rebekah, the children, and I stopped by to see her...

while on our way to see Caleb and his family!

I felt as close to her...as I did when we were all together in Florida!

Nothing changes between "sisters" in Zion!

Brenda is holding Rebekah's "Jane"...

While Bekah tried to feed baby Jane...

Brenda's little dog...tried to get acquainted with the two of them...

I fell in LOVE with their property!

Fall in the air...Logan out investigating the animals...

particularly the horses...

Logan LOVED the little "pony"...not certain which was taller...

this pony or one of their dogs...you saw pictured earlier...

I do believe...Logan is fascinated by all the different horses...

Logan kept crawling through the fences...something he learned

at our place in MONTANA! (smile)

Yep...another horse...he wanted to get to know...

It was fun watching this cat...with Bekah...

Not certain he/or she could smell "milk" or not...but, the cat

kept very close to Bekah...(smile)

Our VISIT ended all too soon! LOVE YOU BRENDA!!!!!

One day in Pennsylvania

before we left for Virginia...

Halloween in Pennyslvania

Yeah...I know...I am a bit behind...in getting pictures posted...this ENTIRE YEAR!

So, I thought...better LATE than NEVER!

So, I am doing HALLOWEEN with Logan...

As most of you know, I spent 11 days in Pennsylvania with Bekah and her family, with

a side trip to VIRGINIA during Hurricane Sandy...

to be with Caleb and his family...

OK...Hope you enjoy this fun filled night...

Logan was a hoot...We went to their church building for

"Trunk or Treat"...

Pictures say it all...in how he handled the evening!

By the end of the evening...

Logan became a great

"panhandler"...

 Logan did NOT want to wear

this costume...

 He tried really hard to get OUT OF IT!

 Finally gave up...It was time...to go and 

get that CANDY!

 Well, he did try ONE MORE TIME...

by lifting up the "feet"...

but...alas...they were HOOKED ON!

 Jane wasn't really into the whole

Halloween thing...All she wanted was to eat and SLEEP!

(and be held!) (smile)

 Yeah...it paid off...keeping the costume on...

 Logan was DONE!

Daddy to the rescue...to carry him to the car...

When we got back home...Bekah and I

went through all the candy...

and found our "favorite" pieces!

Thank goodness...Logan never noticed!

(smile)

Next, year...we'll send him back out

to "panhandle" once again...

With his cute looks...he'll bring home lots of goodies

for Mama and Granny!
