Sunday - During General ConferenceThere is nothing like...gathering the family together...during General Conference weekend...Dave and Jenny came up because his best friend (non-member) was getting married on Saturday and both Dave and Jenny were in the "wedding party"....However, the blessing of that wedding was for Papa and Granny to "babysit" SAMMY!!! (smile) I am posting a few pictures taken over the weekend...plus, one of Angel and Nathan that was taken a few days earlier...Can't think of a better combination...than "sitting at the feet of LIVING Prophets and Apostles" WITH FAMILY!!!! On Saturday, Jon, Linda, and Leah Evans joined our family for General Conference and a grand luncheon inbetween the morning and afternoon sessions!!!
We, also, celebrated Jenny and Angel's birthdays (on Sunday) - though, Angel's was in MARCH and Jenny's was on April 1st....Nevertheless, with turkey, mash potatoes, two cakes, and veggies on Sunday...Chicken and fried rices ,etc. on SATURDAY -
it was a wonderful weekend in EVERY WAY!!!
(NO ONE LOST ANY WEIGHT this past weekend) (smile)

Oh you guys had it SO EASY!!! While you were all basking in the voice of the prophet we were trying desperately to keep the kids quiet long enough to figure out if they were talking, praying, or singing!

One day, and very soon I might add, but it seems like an eternity away for you right now, you too will have the opportunity to sit with your adult children and enjoy Conference.
