I LOVE reading to the Grandchildren!

Something I always wanted to do!

I brought some of my favorite children stories with me to Virginia...

Had moments when I could read to them the stories...

but, for the YOUNGER ones...something more

simple...was more fun for the children...

Here was one captured moment in time...

Abe and Annie...children in tow...came to spend the 

week - to celebrate Benson's arrival...

and THANKSGIVING!

We had so much fun...but, I think the GRANDCHILDREN...

LOVED even more...that they had 

cousins to play with! smile

Holy Griddle Rides, Again...in WINTER.....

The "Holy Griddle" rides, again...smile  

Angel came to help out her dad...cook for our Ward's Christmas Party...

"over 200" people came...

A huge thank you, also, goes to Jared...who took care of the children...so Angel could help her dad...Jared managed to cook, also...when Granny was less active...organizing INSIDE the building...smile 

We have never cooked in the WINTER...If the "propane" gets too cold...there is NO GAS...We PRAYED...that the weather was good enough for us to cook...

Had some wind (always a concern), but, no snow...or rain...

Temperatures were around between 30's and 40's...

SO BLESSED to have pull it off!

THANK YOU, HEAVENLY FATHER!!!!!

Logan was EXCITED about Benson's coming...long before

Benson was born...

 Jane saw Mama with food...

Yep...food not safe when Jane is around...

As most of you know...I have the privilege of "witnessing"

the birth of our newest grandchild...

Benson Drake Greenway

I spent two weeks in Virginia...and took ALOT of pictures...

I want to begin with the birth of Benson...my first day in Virginia.

during those two weeks...

 Funny...how enthusiastic we are...at the

 Joel...after picking me up at the airport...stopped by

Panera Bread - and picked up a bagel for Bekah...smile

 A girl has got to eat...something...before

labor...really kicks in...smile

 The nurse tried all different kinds of positions on Bekah...

 Yeah...relaxing a bit...

 Bekah was to "squat" whenever she went into a contraction...

I thought...this is where she made her best progression...

I thought this one...was counter productive...

but, then, who am I...definitely NOT TRAINED...

simply only given birth to "8" children...
