Montana Trip - Part 2

There is nothing like 4-wheeling!
Kids LOVE IT!
Adults LOVE IT!
Granny LOVES IT! but, didn't get a chance
to do it...Maybe, next time!

James went first!
No way...he would have waited... to go
and be...2nd or 3rd in line...
smile

Kenzie's Turn Next!
You can tell by here expressions...
she was LOVING IT!
smile

And finally...Maddy's turn!
One of the best things...
being in the mountains...
and enough land...the freedom
to 4 wheel to one's heart's
content! smile

Candy Making Time...1997

One of the BEST memories of our time in Florida...
was when we had the blessing of
John and Arline Stahlnecker move their trailor
unto our property for 6 months...
while they served and were finishing up their
missions in Florida...

The following pictures were taken on Arline's birthday...
She and John came over to teach all of us how
to make "candy"...

8 December 1997

 Mama (before I turned "white") Angel; Hyrum (on counter);
Arline; Rebekah, and Sarah

 "Grandma Arline Stahlnecker"
What a great person!

Arline teaching Angel about "candy" making...

 Hyrum working on his project...

Sorry about this scrapbooking page...Got
cut off while scanning...

 Garvin's back; John Stahlnecker; Hyrum;
Rebekah and Sarah

Hyrum, Angel, Caleb, Rebekah, and Sarah

Caleb, Arline, Sarah, and Hyrum

 Garvin, John, and Caleb..."resting"...

Jenny and John working on her puzzle...

Hyrum and Angel use to go over to the
Stahlneckers's trailor every morning...to say
"Hello" to Grandpa and Grandma...
smile
Hyrum and Angel LOVED these two incredible people!

 Caleb caught "sampling"...smile

Garvin, Angel, Caleb, and Hyrum's backside...

Sarah "forcing" a caramel...into my mouth...

Courting - Engagement - Wedding Pictures - Of My Parents - 9 September 1949

I want you all to have a FAMILY HISTORY Album...
File...or whatever you wish to have and
build upon it with your ancestors.

The Lord Has Trusted Us to Redeem the Dead
---------------------------------------------------

"[The Lord] has trusted you by letting you hear the gospel in
your lifetime, giving you the chance to accept the obligation to offer it
to those of your ancestors who did not have your priceless opportunity.
Think of the gratitude He has for those who pay the price in work and faith
to find the names of their ancestors and who love them and Him enough to
offer them eternal life in families, the greatest of all the gifts of God.
He offered them an infinite sacrifice. He will love and appreciate those
who paid whatever price they could to allow their ancestors to choose His
offer of eternal life."
Topics: ancestors, family history, eternal
life, temples

( Henry B. Eyring, "Hearts Bound Together," Ensign, May 2005, 79)

I wanted you all to have copies of the pictures of my parents -
one little pictures, I believe, taken BEFORE they were married...
Newspaper clippings of their announcements: engagement and wedding...

All the originals are in my possession. These are rare...for I believe, I
am the only one who has "originals"...
