Mud Fight #1

Working on FAMILY HISTORY...has been such an

incredible experience for me...

Going back and scanning all the pictures and scrapbooks...

has brought back so many memories...

We have often talked about events in our home...

"MUD FIGHTS" come to mind...

However, I only remember ONE of those "Mud" events...

Thank goodness, I had put in an album...

"2" events...we had TWO MUD fights at our home...

Here is the FIRST ONE...

Our yard and home took a beating...

yet, WHAT FUN MEMORIES! 

MUD FIGHT #1

I wrote: 

March 18, 1998

Wednesday

School's out!! And guess how many "youth" were in and out of our home, today?  Between 15-20 youth.  (teenagers mostly)  They decided that they wanted a "water fight".  Liz Borchardt, Sara Holladay, Sarah Richins had stayed all night.  Sara Lynn Holladay had gone home.  But the other girls decided they wanted some fun.  They called up a bunch of kids and it became a free-for-all... It started with a "water fight" and ended up in a major "mud fight".

Sister Fran Richins was here to watch the "mud brawl".  To the best of my ability the following were here: Caleb, Jennifer, Sarah, Rebekah, Angel, and Hyrum Smith; Liz Borchardt, Sarah, Hannah, and Becky Richins; Kristy and Debbie Schreiber; Daniel Milton; Daniel Holladay; Chris Zabriskie; Erica and Lesley Wolfe; Katrina Maughn; Curtis and Justin Maughn (came and left early); Kevin Lowe; Katy Johnston; Shari Taylor stopped by.  I think that was all of them.  They jumped into the pool with all their muddy clothes.  Mud is everywhere...windows, floors, bathroom, kitchen, porches, sidewalks, etc.  But, oh...did they have the best time.  Erica Wolfe stayed all night.  Had Gracie all day, also.
